Elena is a American-Portuguese third year student at University College Maastricht studying Social Sciences and concentrating on international relations and security. She is this years co-head of editing and is very excited for this year of the Maastricht Diplomat. She is deeply interested in politics, culture, and arts and hopes to contribute to articles in that domain. This year, she hopes to foster voices and help her writer's become they best they can be while also writing her own articles to continue the Diplomat's mission to accessible and free press.
