As the European Parliament gathered on Saturday afternoon, something interesting actually happened. As MEPs were discussing with other members of their party to agree on a common position, repetitive loud noises could be heard from the room above the European Parliament. At the moment of writing this, the source of those noises has sadly not been identified yet.
As the President of the European Parliament reminded MEPs that the forthcoming procedures were strictly confidential and reminded them not to communicate with each other during the voting procedure, one might well ask what the source of these noises was.
Could it be that an ingenious MEP has allies outside of the Parliament communicating information in Morse code? Is the European Parliament corrupt or infiltrated by spies?
The Onion will keep you informed on any further developments.
