[Buzz Feed] 60 Seconds of Silence

The European Central Bank has called for a minute of silence at the beginning of the last day of the EuroMUN conference. Requested by the Bank of Finland, and seconded by all other delegates, the period of silent contemplation was seen as a moment of reflection towards the “loss of face and defeat” of the European Parliament, which “started something they could not finish”. This seems to refer to a memes war currently fought between the European Central Bank and the European Parliament. Reminiscing over the perceived defeat of their opponents, the representatives of the European banks could be seen quietly crying during this solemn moment.
